Sandiaga Uno, Returns to Sell Saratoga Shares, Holds IDR 64.38 Billion

Monitor Utama. Candidate for Vice President number 02, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, again sold shares of PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG). This time Sandi released 17.05 million shares and pocketed Rp 64.38 billion.

Referring to the disclosure of information on the stock exchange, the pair Prabowo Subianto in the 2019 Presidential Election sold SRTG three times. Namely on the 6th, 7th, and 11th December 2018.
"The purpose of the transaction is to divest," Sandi wrote in a written explanation to the stock exchange authorities on Thursday (13/12).

He released the SRTG at an average price of Rp 3,776 per share. The price is relatively premium compared to the closing price of the SRTG in the three periods of the transaction.

On December 6, the SRTG ended at a price of Rp. 3,720 per share. The SRTG price ends at Rp 3,710 per share on December 7, 2018, and closes at Rp 3,630 per share at the closing of the trading session on December 11, 2018.

After the sale, now Sandi still has around 613.77 million units of SRTG shares, equivalent to 22.63 percent of the total SRTG shares. Sandi's SRTG portion has been reduced by around 5.17 percent since he declared himself a vice president.

Previously, Sandiaga had released Saratoga shares gradually starting last October 2018. As of December 2018, the total has been 11 times that Sandi has sold its shares in the SRTG. At the end of July 2018, Sandiaga Uno still had about 754.11 million units of shares, equivalent to 27.79 percent of the total SRTG shares. During this period, Sandiaga sold around 140.35 million SRTG units, the majority of which were priced at Rp 3,776 per share. As a result, Sandi pocketed around Rp 530 billion in cash from selling Saratoga shares.

Even so, Sandiaga is still rich. If referring to the closing price of the SRTG on Thursday (12/13/2018), which is in the position of IDR 3,680 per share, Sandi still has Saratoga shares worth around IDR 2.25 trillion. Not to mention the other sources of wealth. (Barly Haliem)
